Review on Shimano Brake Bleed Kit with 100ml Mineral Oil, Bleed Block/Rotor Correction Tool, 4 Allen Wrenches, and 7mm Wrench - Compatible with All Shimano Brakes by Deron Gilliam

This kit worked despite some annoying flaws. First of all, this set had the worst syringe in the world! He didn't exactly move, just jerks and stopped. And had such a great elastic resistance that when you thought you had removed all the air from the hose before attaching it to the caliper, the moment you stopped pressing on the piston, it retreated and about 1.4 inches of air into the end lines - there is no easy or clean way to avoid forcing air into the caliper (I know of syringes, have been taking blood and injecting meds for 20 years and this syringe is not helping! ) Second, the bleed block was too flimsy - it worked, but didn't stay in place on its own, and it didn't have a brake shoe bolt hole to hold it in place. it was in a bottle with a cap the same width as the bottle - and not remotely spill proof. Trying to slowly pour the oil into the funnel was messy! . Also, not for a few unnecessary things (Allen wrench, 7mm wrench, etc.) were also important. So I was able to bleed the brakes with this kit, just not as easy as with other kits and with significantly more effort and time!
