Review on 🔍 Accurate Marking and Mortising with ROBERT LARSON 605-1250 Beechwood Gauge by Bob Fasho

So when I bought this the picture showed a tortoiseshell thumbscrew. However, when it arrived it had a VERY cheap Mickey Mouse-like plastic thumbscrew with all the manufacturing marks still visible. I ended up buying a brass insert and screw to replace the piece of crap that came with it. Looks much nicer, works great. It worked great with the original plastic screw but looked incredibly cheap. In terms of functionality, everything works perfectly and a good fit between the case and the rail is achieved. All in all a nice tool.
