The wheels I usually buy cost so much for 4 of these, no bearings or fasteners so I was careful with them. . After installing the gear and mounting it in frames, I was pleasantly surprised at how they feel on tarmac. The amount of grip and slip was predictable, I never felt like I was slipping during high speed maneuvers and once I started to slip it was nice and manageable. The only real downside was the bearings that came with the wheels. They are slow and noisy and an obstacle for those who like fast driving. Once I installed the bearings I already had in the wheels, it was a game changer. Speed was easily achievable. The wheels have the right stiffness to roll over bumpy asphalt without hurting your feet or slowing you down too much. The photo at the end shows the wheels after about 5 hour sessions and 1 revolution. Wear is even and there have been no wheel failures, even after some hard landings from obstacle jumps. I would absolutely recommend these in 72mm as a replacement for some of the Impala Lightspeed inline skates, but maybe just buy bare wheels. and use your own bearings. If they ever come out with 100mm wheels I will 100% buy them.
