My home office is a little rickety (or Frankenstein, as I affectionately call it). I have a tower, a laptop and a surface; in between there are two docking stations, two monitors and a kvm switch that only supports two devices. Since I don't use the surface and the tower at the same time, I wanted to quickly add a splitter from the switch to the tower and that was exactly what I needed. Although I'm a bit disappointed that I have to toggle the switch manually. I'm sure I can live with some extra work. It was a relief to discover that such splitters actually exist after scrolling through the pages of "data only on one page, others paid". I love that the USB plugs are labeled 1 and 2 instead of having to guess. And the switch is easy enough to figure out which is which. The only other minor complaint is that the cables are a bit short. If you are looking for a real splitter and not just a data source and on account then I would recommend this little guy.
