I have written to the manufacturer: My wife uses this tool to cut holes in eggshells which she makes into Christmas ornaments. Everything worked perfectly last fall. She oiled it up and put it away until this week. The collet rotates easily by hand, there is no air leakage, but when you try to turn on the air, it blows out the exhaust holes on the back of the hose plug (#6 on the index) and the collet does not rotate at all. I disassembled the tool and found that it was well lubricated and not corroded. As you can see, we bought the tool two years ago, so we are very disappointed that it no longer works. It has been well maintained and only used for light work. I have not received any compensation from the manufacturer. I bought a second unit and keep it upright, often turning the collet by hand to make sure it's well lubricated. It's too early to tell.
