These are cable ties. It's hard to go wrong and they perform exactly as you would expect a zip tie to do. They are perfectly fine for my home use. However, they are somewhat different from the ties I buy at my local hardware store. local store carries. I prefer this for two reasons: it looks better (to me) and the wider tie doesn't cut into the bundle as much. The second thing you will notice is that the front of the tie has a smoother wedge shape. This makes it a bit easier to insert the end of the zip tie into the attachment end. The third (not obvious in the picture) is that the front is a bit thinner, which makes it even easier to wrap and insert into the fastening part of the tie.
