Buy for ATV or Go Kart, not cop car

Order another one today and I'm completely satisfied. For $20 this is a great value. VOLUME It's loud. If I used it for a squad car it wouldn't be very pretty, but for an ATV - or my personal go-karting app for my kids - it's spot on. If you sit right on the horn, it's loud and exciting for them. It's uncomfortable to stand in front of him. In my opinion, this is the ideal volume level for any unprotected vehicle, including any ATV or UTV built primarily for pedestrian stops. It might work to prevent someone else from wearing a helmet. Depends on how noisy their bike was. STRENGTH Satisfied with durability and weather resistance. I installed it on GoKart and my kids race the long way around my property. It was mostly parked outside, mostly under a canopy but not always, snagged a bit in the rain and lasted two years with occasional use. If you're going to be using it in harsher environments or with higher duty cycles, you'll probably need to buy some really professional quality gear. This is normal for a medium-powered device. Several PAA reviewers have noted that PA does not work. Most likely operator error. PA works. There is a PTT button on the side of the microphone. Press and hold to talk on PA. However, there is a catch. PA has some form of noise cancellation to prevent feedback, even when the user is seated directly behind the horn within about a foot in an unlocked vehicle. I really like this feature because it works great on GoKart with no feedback, but if you're used to a standard professional car speaker system, you'll have to train yourself to speak louder to get past the 'noise gate'. .SIRENA All the standard sounds I was looking for plus a few weird orbs. It is great. HORN This is probably the loudest output mode of this device. It has great tone and carries long distances. DIRECTIONALITY It's got the right directionality so it doesn't feel like I need hearing protection when sitting directly behind it, but it's uncomfortably loud a few feet in front. In general I like it. I hope this one lasts as long as the previous one. Installing it with a zip tie around the center section was EASY, and in fact it seemed as strong as the bracket that came with it.
