Works great on my 2017 Tiguan. There were intermittent issues with the old button's response, I had to try different spots around the switch and press it many times before the car would start or shut off. This switch fixed it. In appearance, it differs slightly from the factory switch. Slightly softer around the edges, more like a derailleur in my wife's 2018 Tiguan. Installation was easy, at least for the updated first generation Tiguan. I assume they used this switch in many models.
