After giving the mat a day to flatten out under a heavy box, I moved the litter box and swept and vacuumed the stray litter all over my floor as I have every day. Then I placed the mat under the litter box. No more litter! I can walk past the box without cringing and sweeping the floor several times per day. It takes a little finesse to lift and fold and tip the excess litter it captures back into the box. But it is so much more effective than any rug or mat we’ve tried before.
