I bought this cable for my 2009 Sierra to replace the factory USB port. The wrench fits perfectly in the existing hole, but good luck backing it up. I fiddled around for 20 minutes trying to tighten a cheap plastic or maybe rubber nut(?). The next dilemma was figuring out where to go with the 9 miles of cables they give you after they finally stuffed everything into the dash. The first time I removed the cover to insert a flash drive, the cover immediately pulled away. . Even after about 3 days you notice that the nut on the back is loosening as the USB port is now spinning freely. I feel like they could do a lot better if they gave you a metal nut with a metal body and maybe a softer rubber cap, they would hit the nail on the head, but instead they totally missed the mark.
