Great pen for illustration and handwriting + more

Great pen, have been using it for about a year. It initially took me a bit to get used to the pen and understand what it's for, but to be honest I didn't find any downsides other than not understanding how to use it properly e.g. B. with him some media that smear. Here are a few materials I worked with with this pen: Copic Markers: These types of pens tend to smudge if you use them right away. I've done this multiple times and messed up some of my work. However, I didn't realize that if I just let it dry for half an hour or so I wouldn't have a problem with it. prismacolor colored pencils: This ballpoint pen and these pencils work together like magic. I was able to get such nice lines for my character and color them in with pencils to get a nice light look with bold lines. The only problem I had was that the Prismacolor pens outweighed the blackness of the pen, but that wasn't a huge problem as I could just go over the drawing again with the pen and it came out perfectly. Prismacolors are highly pigmented anyway, so with most inks they do this anyway. Watercolor: This pen really isn't for watercolor. I would suggest applying the pen link after you are done with the illustration and do it carefully. Last but not least, the pen itself is great and well made, you really get the best bang for your buck with this product. Keep in mind that the brush is a little stiff, but it may or may not be perfect for what you're aiming for, so keep that in mind before you buy. You can still achieve fine lines with a hard brush, but not as fine as with a much larger brush pen. However, it still depends on what you're working on and how your work looks and feels. I would say that the shorter brush of this pen actually gives me more control compared to my larger brush pens, which for me is pretty well balanced. Overall I would highly recommend this pen if you are into illustration, calligraphy or just want to try out. It's a wonderful pen with almost professional quality ink at a really good price. I have really enjoyed using this pen for various lettering, illustrations and symbols for various projects I am working on for school and personal work. I have sold several illustrated commissions using this pen and customers love the result. In the end, I would say that it's up to you to decide what type of brush works best for you. This brush pen is generally firmer, but it's a nice contrast to a really soft pen like my prismacolor brand, making it the perfect product to add variety to my pen collection. I hope this was helpful to anyone who needs a more detailed review of this product. =
