Plastic bulbs don't break easily
I hung these bulbs in my garden after a bad experience with glass bulbs that broke within a few days. It's been 3 weeks now with wind and heavy rain and very sunny days and they are working great. Of course I tied the thread first (as with any Christmas light experience) and it took a while to unravel. But the light worked afterwards too!
