The velcro does not go through the strap
They are tight-fitting shoes. This might work if the velcro on the strap was completely twisted. While these aren't comfortable shoes, the placement of the Velcro makes them suitable, if not wearable. In our case, unacceptable. I tried adding velcro but it didn't work.
