Just installed yesterday. The parts appear to be of good quality and the $99 price tag seems reasonable. There are two reasons (and one annoyance) that made me give it three stars. First the belt was twisted. If it had been a customer's car, I would have had to return it. Second - There are 3 timing belt tensioners on the engine, and only 2 new ones are included. MAN might say I should have looked more closely at the "uninstall and install literature" available to me, then I would have known there were three and would have bought another if I wanted to replace all three. To this I throw the bird. And now for the annoyance: The timing marks usually printed on timing belts are often not completely needed, as with this engine setting, if you have the special engine setting tools that the specialist dealers need. Management. Despite this, it's a very useful working aid, although not strictly necessary once you're used to using it. There are no alignment marks on this strap, which made me double check that the strap was properly put on, which annoyed me a little. :-) As I said, if it was a customer's car I would have sent it back due to a kinked belt. This is our car and it was 120 miles from home when it was decided it needed repairs. I didn't want to make another trip later to complete the renovation, so I installed it. I don't expect a kink to result in immediate failure. I expect it to last 10 or 15,000 miles not 80 or 100. In my opinion this is a purchase I would make again. It's unlikely I'll be in the same situation the next time I'm out of town, so returning the kit for a kink in the belt is usually not a problem. Now that I know two of the three rolls are included, I might buy an extra one before I go. (And now you know too!) DNJ, If you advertise in your description that there are three loafers and only two are included, I can add a star. Note to Packing Department - Packing should be considered. belt in a box. kink is not cool.
