Excellent as a chuck for most semi-hoops. You have to press on the valve stem and tilt it down to lock it. It takes a small number of times to lock. Once it snaps into place, it forces air into the tire until you shake it a bit to remove it. It works well with the Milton S986 Service Gauge. If you have steel inner wheels with aluminum outer wheels or some dual pickup tires, you may need a Milton S-690 1/4" FNPT dual head air chuck and a dual head Milton S-976 service gauge. Get yours easily all and be able to check almost all high pressure tires.
