I recently bought a used 2015 Subaru Outback Limited based on all the reviews I have read and carefully researched. However, it has been ten years since I last bought a new car. My Ford Taurus SEL station wagon had almost 200,000 miles on it and I really didn't want to change it, but that's another story. I quickly realized that these new cars are meant to be driven EVERY day and I'm not that much of a driver (in retirement I don't have to drive 100 miles a day to work). With today's sophisticated computerized features, these cars are constantly draining battery power, even the key fob when it's within 10 feet of your car. If I leave the car for a week it won't start. I had to haul it to the service several times. and invested in two batteries until he isolated the problem. Buy a battery tender and leave it plugged in if I don't have to drive for 4-5 days. Yes, it's uncomfortable, but not turning the car around is really uncomfortable. I keep my car in a garage where I can conveniently plug in this 5A Power Battery Tender and haven't had any issues since. It was a very good investment.
