Review on 🔒 Dorman 931-303 Front Driver Door Lock Actuator Motor Compatible with Cadillac / Chevrolet / GMC Models by Micael Rau

Do not buy this actuator. I installed it on the driver's door of a 2008 Chevy Silverado about a month ago. It worked fine for a few days before I started having problems with it. Now 3 weeks later it only works about 40% of the time. I'm glad nobody stole anything from the truck because of that. The lock doesn't work. I found out about it as I left the entrance. Although the door was locked and appeared to be tightly shut, it swung open as I walked out. I have to slam the door several times for it to click and actually keep the door closed. Most of the time it opens. I tried to get into the truck several times and found the door didn't close properly last night. Although locked, the door did not latch, allowing the door to open freely. Now I always have to double check that the door is really closed properly before I move away from the truck. I wish I could still get her back. I will switch to a dealer.
