🔒 Dorman 931-303 Front Driver Door Lock Actuator Motor Compatible with Cadillac / Chevrolet / GMC Models Review

I have already exchanged the drive on the driver's side 3 times. This Dorman crap is bullshit! They say they have a lifetime guarantee. How do I get her to replace that crappy part three times!?

This was a direct replacement for the Driver Side Lock Actuator for the 2008 Silverado LS. I was surprised there was one more lock than the passenger door, but it worked fine. Well worth the extra cost for the Dorman part just to get into the door panel once.

I installed this on a 2008 Yukon. Yukons and Tahoes have a known problem with automatic locks. They stop working and the dealer charges $400 to fix each door. Decided to fix it myself. Installation was difficult due to the confined space required to work inside the door and two rods to be attached to the lock actuator. Luckily I attached both, it only took 1/2 hour. Now the locks work perfectly.

I bought this product about a month ago. I installed it when it arrived about a week later. So it hasn't been in my car for a month today. About 2 weeks after installation it started to fail sporadically and now it won't open my driver's door at all. I am buying and returning a Delco AC motor. Dorman one. I will never buy a Dorman product again.

a lot of work but fits like a glove. I would order the passenger door if things go bad. I hope it works and lasts better than the OEM parts. Worked great for about a month then there was a 'latch' when you pull the handle to open the door. The locking piece at the end of the cable has a place where it latches and does not release the lock. Because of this, the door does not open. A return of the goods is not possible. If you have a GM car, chances are everything about your car is a mess. All 4 burned out on my 2009 Tahoe because of the cheap 20 cent Chinese electric motor in that lock block.
