Good time saving fix!
I had an exhaust break where previous owner welded in a short five inch extension which failed. I could have cut out a larger section of pipe to get beyond the welds, but using this band I was able to avoid that. As I torqued down the band it had the flexibility to conform to the surfaces of the existing exhaust pipe and seal the two sections.
- 08. F250 exhaust repair. Just installed. Appears to be quality made. Nice metric hardware. 10.9 strength
- The clamp may require specialized tools for installation that are not readily available
