I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

When I have a Nikon 85mm f/1.8G portrait lens, I almost always use the Nikon 50mm f/1.4G on the Nikon D7000 because it's lighter, has better focal length, and produces a sharper image with less chromatic aberration.
It focuses slower than the Nikon 50mm f/1.4D, but the image quality is definitely better on the G version.
I usually shoot waist length portraits with this lens and after trying many portrait lenses I find it to be the best choice for crop systems for this purpose for the money. Let's just say it has the best value for money.

Pros

Sharp, compact with good image quality. Low cost for such quality.

Cons

Focusing is slower than Nikon 50mm f/1.4D.

Its pros: 1) on an open aperture, excellent bokeh. 2) 9 aperture blades 3) autofocus is very fast. 4) if an excellent staffer will run with his feet. Has some cons The price - 13 tyk is certainly a bit much, but if anything, he will perfectly cope with his task in full frame. Production China. Bland falls.
