My Craftsman 7.5hp mower has had starting problems recently and is 5 years old so not bad for them but due to problems considering I never winterized it. I recently removed and cleaned the carburetor and it was working fine again, but during last week's mowing it decided it just stopped working. I bought a new carburetor like I should have from the start and after putting it back together it started and ran like new. EDIT: A few weeks later the lawn mower is still working great. I laugh at the negative reviews that blame ethanol for ruining carbs or making the mower not work properly. I don't have non-ethanol fuel so it just gets E10 and runs fine. I wish we had E0 because I would use it in my cars too, but we don't have it. I don't like ethanol, but it won't make your lawnmower work.
