I take back my words on this article

I thought 97.00 would be a great price for these bars but in the end it was a mistake! After installing all 4 latches I used my key fob to lock and unlock my truck to make sure all the internal lock knobs move so I go to open my door and it's locked. I press the unlock button on the fob again. Go to the other door, it's locked! Now I have 4 doors that are locked! And now as I get into my truck and everything I've googled I couldn't find anything about how to get into a locked truck that has new locks installed and how to get into the truck. Miraculously I was able to open the driver's door, took the door apart again and redid the lock, making sure whatever I did would allow me to open the door, but I have to repair 3 more doors. Again I go to unlock and open the doors and again the door doesn't open. Luckily I left the tailgate window open so with some polite persuasion I removed the door panel from the tailgate and opened the tailgate and I found the problem is why if they don't open the grommets that come with the locks the rods go performed worse than the original locks. They are soft rubber and have no stiffness so the rods don't work properly and they threw me as far as it took to actually unlock and I found that out because I bought another new driver's door lock for 141.00 and included a new cable, but then I found the grommets were ribbed plastic with bars. much firmer and when installed it actually latches and latches and the door opens but it required removing the door panel from the tailgate to open the front door and then unscrewing the tailgate from the frame and removing the tailgate to access the forehead The door is open. Oh my god what a pain! And I have 2 more doors to fix! 97.00 turned out to be not that profitable. Offer! If you buy these, go to your local auto parts store and buy some new plastic retainers and replace the soft rubber retainers that come with the locks. Good luck to anyone who buys them.
