My 5.5 year old son has had issues with other swim trunks (wish mesh liners) giving him a rash or just plain discomfort and this was just what we needed. I will say they are big. We ordered a size 5T and my skinny son usually wears clothes from 5T to XS or S for boys and I have to pull them quite tight. But he can wear them without falling off and there is room to grow, so no complaints. It floats a ton and they hold up great. Recommend!
