These are "normal" but well-made buck converters. The specs are correct and unlike many other similar converters, their performance (particularly the input/output capacitors) matches those specs. I tested it to see if it can pump out 3A and it worked fine although I didn't test it for more than 1/2 hour. I've bought ones in the past that were "cheap" and for fun, charged them, and two of them fired just over 2A, even though the LM2595 was rated at 3A. It's weird (who doesn't love the smell of E-Blue smoke, after all?), but because the registration chip markings have been intentionally erased - all too common on things you get from certain countries - that's how it got me. suspicious. However, I found it strange that the one I bought here lists a max voltage of 35V when the chip can reach 37V and I didn't think to check that. Probably just as good since they only use a 35V output capacitor, which is common. Fast shipping and great deal overall.
