I bought this because my truck key is used to unlock the lock. Easy to install. Lol my wife didn't even have to show me how to set it up. Why take extra keys with you? I recommend everyone to buy this. It rolls itself up when not in use. Great feature. TO UPDATE. I just sold my truck and bought a new 2018 Duramax. According to the instructions, it may only be "plugged in" once. I left it with the old truck as it was of no use to me and I didn't want to make a key for my last truck. It's still a great cable lock.
