otherwise I like the locking mechanism

The only problem I had was that the cable was very difficult to work with, twisted and difficult to work with, otherwise I like the locking mechanism and the fact that you can use your car can use keys. One less key.

These locks are great

Very well made and easy to use. If you have a keychain, this is for you. I have a cable lock for a spare tire, a locking pin for a trailer, and several padlocks that use the same ignition key on my truck. Deadbolt locks are great.

These are simply the best as the lock can recognize yours.

This is simply the best as the lock can recognize your car's key. This means you only need one key for all your locks, which makes a world of difference, especially if you have a trailer and tie rod tubes that need to be secured.

Production "BOLT " is simply the best in my opinion. Their main feature is that they recognize your ignition.

"BOLT" products are simply the best in my opinion. Their main feature is that they learn your ignition key, so you no longer have to go through key by key to find the right one on your ring. Used a "cable lock" to secure a tool box to the back of a pickup truck. The tools in the box are also protected by the product BOLT.

It's almost TOO easy to use! Great castle!

I love these BOLT locks. They're great for radiators etc and you can use your car door/ignition key so you don't have to keep up with new keys. I also bought a BOLT 7023582 5/8" hitch receiver lock for Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC center cut keys and it works great too! Very easy to program, just remove the cover, insert the key and turn. BAMM!

Great lock and one less key to find.

I bought this because my truck key is used to unlock the lock. Easy to install. Lol my wife didn't even have to show me how to set it up. Why take extra keys with you? I recommend everyone to buy this. It rolls itself up when not in use. Great feature. TO UPDATE. I just sold my truck and bought a new 2018 Duramax. According to the instructions, it may only be "plugged in" once. I left it with the old truck as it was of no use to me and I didn't want to make a key for my last truck. It's still a
