Friction system not working

When it works, it does exactly what I want it to do and it's bug free. If it works, I hold it with my finger. I've tried gluing it in place, but the heat of the pee quickly frustrates it. Probably just soldered. The bottom line is, and I'm not sure if I'm on a bad copy or anything, but the friction joint system has so much wiggle room that it's impossible to get a solid connection unless you're holding it in place.

Cons
