Based on the size chart I was close to being an 'M' or 'L' (I'm 5'6 ") . , 140lbs, I usually wear an 8 or 10), I have a very thin waist but big legs, so I went for a big one. The legs fit great BUT the waist and stomach are a bit big! Me would say if you're a person who has abdominal weight (I'm not) this would be perfect for you I'm wondering if I'd get the medium which would suit my abs/buttocks better but maybe would be it been too tight for my thigh? ok. just got them for my first 'dry run' and the material is very soft/quality, they stay in place and my feet don't ride up.may order in the future Medium for comparison only Good buy!
