Review on Drill America DEWEZS1 5 Qualtech Extractor by Chris Burns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love it! I wish I had had her many years ago.

I really like these. I've never used a screw extractor but decided to try them with whatever I make at home. And let me tell you, they are amazing. I didn't know what I was missing if I hadn't had a screw extractor all these years. I don't need them often but when I do need them I'm so thankful for them. They are made of high carbon steel and feel solid when all are taken out. I've heard from other people that their squeegee sets break easily so I've never bought a set, but I have no doubt they will last for years. I would definitely suggest watching YouTube videos or visiting the DYI forum before using them as the visuals are helpful. There is a process to make them work properly and use the correct size for each screw you remove, but once you complete the process they work like a charm. Anyone who repairs or builds at home knows what a stuck/broken/cracked screw is and they should definitely be in your tool belt. For durability and utility, this is a great price. The purchase is definitely worth it. Don't repeat my mistake and buy one sooner rather than later and save yourself some heartache.
