Review on Sony WIC400/L Wireless Behind-Neck In-Ear Headphones, Blue by Kichiro Diaz ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

My first wireless headphones. They cost 2650 (in the summer of 2022), which is quite acceptable. In general, I am satisfied, but at the moment I am looking for something better (and more expensive). Pros below: The neckband is just what I needed. Unlike the popular TWS, at any time the headphones can be pulled out of your ears and safely forgotten without fear of losing them at all. Weight - hang on the neck all day and do not interfere. True, with tight outerwear (sweatshirts, shirts, jackets), the rim can put pressure on the collarbone, but I got used to this over time. The charge is enough for a long time. Physical control keys - +/- volume (with a long press, switching tracks), play / pause. NFC - you put an unlocked phone with NFC enabled on the headphones that are turned off - Bluetooth immediately turns on on the phone, the headphones themselves turn on and immediately connect to the phone. Convenient, but I'm more used to keeping the Bluetooth on the phone constantly on, albeit to the detriment of the charge. Has cons: The sound is at the level of simple wired in-ear headphones from Sony up to 1000, like the same MDR-EX15AP that I used before the WI-C400; in fact, you pay extra about 2 thousand for the sake of a wireless connection. I don't know if that says more about the good sound of the MDR-EX15AP or the bad sound of the WI-C400. Thin wires are not for winter, they “dub” in the cold, although the adjustable length of the cables saves. Very weak cable clamps - you constantly have to shorten them so that they do not stick out. A trifle, but annoying.
