This was the first surge protector I've ever seen with no on/off indicator lights, no icons, no logo and just looked fake. Like an idiot I plugged in the adapter from my external hard drive and it fried it! I couldn't believe this happened. I shouldn't have ignored the red flags. I am very angry about this and would sue if I could. This item is extremely dangerous and should be withdrawn from sale as soon as possible! Listen to these 1 star reviews, they will save you from a bad experience. I can't believe I didn't read the reviews on this. I sent it back as there could have been a more disastrous result.
