renders the tool useless where precision is important
The tool has not been zeroed, so all measurements are disabled. This was clearly a defective tool that was shipped without inspection by the factory or seller. This and the fact that the indicator doesn't state an accuracy of +/- 7% (as advertised on the packaging) renders the tool useless when accuracy matters. Beyond the point of bringing it back; So I'm stuck. I will not buy this brand again.
