Excellent tool.: Power and hand tools

Excellent torque wrench. Bought to test and service my Wheeler FAT key which I use on critical gun parts. FAT is more convenient than using a beam button, but it has to be correct.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Empty

most accurate torque wrench

I use this torque when working with guns, mostly scopes. I learned long ago that breakaway torque wrenches are only accurate about 50% of their range and don't repeat click after click. Torque wrenches with a linkage are the most accurate and reproducible. I have worked in both the aerospace and nuclear industries for 35 years and we have primarily used split beam torque wrenches due to repeatability.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Almost never

renders the tool useless where precision is important

The tool has not been zeroed, so all measurements are disabled. This was clearly a defective tool that was shipped without inspection by the factory or seller. This and the fact that the indicator doesn't state an accuracy of +/- 7% (as advertised on the packaging) renders the tool useless when accuracy matters. Beyond the point of bringing it back; So I'm stuck. I will not buy this brand again.

Pros
  • Robust surface
Cons
  • Brittle

may work well with your other heads

bought it for an experiment that required 1 inch-pounds of torque but it's difficult I agree but I can measure 2 inch-pounds. but the socket is very difficult to get for the end of the screwdriver. You have to buy them separately. The socket you fit in wobbles a bit. can work well with your other sockets. Be very careful with the needle. It's a little tricky for smaller screws. it works well up to 5 inch pounds. don't know about above. I'm happy with that. Product name is in ft.lbs. but it is…

Great contrast between display and torque readings

The orange gauge makes it a great tool, I have another brand of torque wrench of the same type but I can never tell if it is exactly where it should be because the numbers and gauge are black. It has that contrast and makes it very easy to tell what torque you have. Mine snaps between the weld that holds the bullet you're pulling and the plate with all the torque values. But I can just pull the torque arm and it works. Actually I'm more comfortable this way, I like it to check the preload of…

Pros
  • Robust steel construction with corrosion resistant mirror chrome finish makes this tool indispensable
Cons
  • There are even more interesting options.

Good accuracy, good value for money.

Works like any other wrench and has a good spread on the 0 to 80 scale measuring 1.5 inches which is a good flex width given the overall length of the wrench. wrench. Accuracy seems good, close to my T-handle torque CDI screwdrivers tested against each other. (They have the same torque range, I bought it for places where I don't have 6" clearance for a screwdriver-like T-handle.) The Presa 3/8" version almost felt wrong, squeezing the entire Scale (0-1000) is only 1" long, although it's 30%…

Pros
  • Black textured grip for better grip
Cons
  • Vanishing

I use this to check the torque to rotation ratio on the axle gears after crushing the bushing or fork spacer Make sure they are not too tight or too loose on recovery. This bar style is the best way to do it. Due to the 1/4" wrench I use a 1/4" socket on the wrench itself and then attach it to the 1/2" socket head on the percussion gun you use for electric with a quick connect to insert 1 - 1/16" nut on this little wrench. Works perfectly. If anyone knows our 1/4" to 1/2" 3/8" nut adapter…

Pros
  • Dual in both directions, 0-80 in-lbs, 0-9 Nm
