Review on 🐠 SunSun Tech'n'Toy HW-602B: Powerful 106 GPH 3-Stage External Canister Filter for Enhanced Filtration by Leah Nelson

The instructions for this thing were a bit shaky and after installation I had a bit of a suction problem. Overall installation is pretty easy and works great so far with little to no sound. I also like that it doesn't eject too much water due to one of the two interchangeable nozzles they offer. Flow is excellent on my 20 gallon without the current getting too strong for my betta. As for the suction issue, I would recommend first filling the canister with either new treated water or used water from your tank. Once it was connected and working, I cycled the valve on the IN tube on and off. This seems to result in enough pressure build up that when the valve is released it eliminates the air pockets and creates a nice smooth flow. I hope this thing lasts a long time because if it's really worth the money. I've used other SunSun products in the past, they seem to make pretty good products at a reasonable price. Not the best quality, but for the price and performance you can't beat it.
