Review on ☕ Coleman QuikPot Propane Coffee Maker: Enhance Your Outdoor Brewing Experience by Margaret Ford

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A small design flaw, but overall a great coffee pot! ATTENTION - HOT, HOT, HOT!

Small design flaw. The carafe holds up to 12 cups, but the coffee pot tank only holds 8 cups of water. So to make a full glass carafe of coffee, you need to add 4 more cups of water to the tank after the brew cycle to make a full 12 cups. I actually think that a few cups of water will evaporate during the brew cycle, making this problem even worse. It's a little frustrating having to watch the pot while brewing to add more water, but other than that it's a great coffee maker! Also, make sure to switch the gas flow from high to low after a brew cycle to keep your coffee hot and conserve gas. I will also add that this machine makes hot coffee so be careful! DO NOT use this coffee maker on a plastic or wooden table! It will melt a plastic table and possibly burn or set fire to a wooden table! After melting my plastic table, I placed this coffee maker on an aluminum Coleman portable camping table and everything was fine!
