I wanted to test the correct functioning of the air conditioning in one of my cars. The gauge itself may be fine but if it cheapens the accessories (quick connects) it makes the product unsuitable for use in an R143a system. Spring-loaded clamps literally slip past the fitting and the hose flies off, spraying refrigerant everywhere. If you like getting freon in your eyes, this product is for you. Connection not possible due to defective quick couplings at the factory. I have never seen such devices behave like this. Also, no faucet is included if you want to use this product to add refrigerant. This wasn't a problem for me as my system is running but something to keep in mind as I imagine most people who buy a device like this will be cleaning or charging the system.
