To be honest I hated them when I first received them. They were incredibly difficult to put on as I have mild arthritis in my hands. Everything changed when I realized I was trying to lead her down the wrong path. The curved side goes towards the earlobe rather than the flat side. Using them this way allows you to easily insert the stylus and then squeeze the tabs to lock them in place. Very safe and can now fully recommend them.
