Review on 🚴 EVT Safe Zone Helmet Mirror for Bicycles by Ken Reed

Easy installation and a wide view of what's behind you

I've recently started cycling again after a few years off. After getting my bike back into road shape, buying a new helmet and other necessary gear, I headed outside. Needless to say, I forgot how much wind noise affects my ability to hear cars approaching from behind. After several cars sped past me, not realizing they were approaching from behind, I decided to look for a rear-view mirror. the walk is too long and didn't want the act of looking back to distract me enough to collide with something in front of me for looking away. Then I decided to put a mirror on my helmet. After a long search, I decided on this series model from EVT. It comes with enough velcro straps to securely attach it to my helmet. The hardest part for me was adjusting the mirror so I could see behind me. It took a few minutes (and a few stops the first time I put it on a helmet during a ride) to position it properly. However, once I did, I was very pleased to look to my right and behind me (my trick is to close my right eye and only look in the mirror with my left; this helps me keep my balance ). for some reason and gives me a clearer view behind me; a glance lasts only a fraction of a second, and I'm already used to the process; you may not need to do this). The mirror sticks out a few inches in front of my face to the left of my helmet and it might make me look stupid to drivers passing me, but I don't care. My safety is far more important to me than looks and now I can keep up with what's behind me much easier. The mirror doesn't add any noticeable weight to my helmet and if it wasn't in my line of sight I wouldn't know I had one. Do yourself a favor and buy this mirror. You will not regret it.
