For the price, this little chain tool is great! I've seen some reviews stating the stylus broke on first use, but I haven't had any issues with it and I suspect at least some of the broken styluses are due to user error. Make sure the pin is properly positioned against the pin in the chain link and that the set screw is tight. Pros: Sturdy tool, there is a viewing area so you can see better when the pin is not in the middle of the link to make the change easier if you reuse the chain. The little wire that holds the chain in place during operation is AWESOME! Comes with a spare pin built right into the handle. So if you bend or break it you have other downsides: the only thing that comes to mind is that it's definitely a shop tool, not small and not light enough to carry with me in my on-the-go bike repair tool kit. I know this price is hard to believe, but this is a well designed tool that I expect will be with me for many years to come.
