Not expecting much for this price. I am replacing a 20 year old phone with a Plantronics headset which has been very reliable. It was just a mute, redial phone, nothing more. I wanted to be able to record conversations. It works great with both my Olympus handheld and desktop computer. I was afraid of the buzz and noise. It has practically NO. Very surprised. I don't know how it will hold up, but so far I'm impressed! It's quite bulky, the device doesn't fit in the mount (the gasket is too thick). My Plantronics didn't have a stand, so I hooked it up under the table (and now this one). DO NOT install a stand unless you really want to. It's the first thing I did out of the box, and when I realized I was better off without it, I tried taking it off (lifting the tab and tugging is the correct procedure). It was very difficult to pull out (but easy to insert). Don't make this mistake. I ended up pulling it out unharmed, but I was sure I would break it. A glaring omission is the call waiting ID. When someone calls I hear the tone but the display doesn't change so I have no idea who called unless someone leaves a message or I check call logs online.
