I was a little nervous to order this burgundy color since digital colors aren't always true. Would it go with my chair or clash with it? I'd say the colors shown are quite true, at least in this case. I didn't have a pouf, but an old 'mushroom' stool. But the dimensions seemed compatible. And it just slipped right on (see how stretchy on the bottom). I think you've got a bit of lee-way there. I even like the little gathers. The stool still sits flat on the floor. I thought the fabric would pill, but that hasn't been a problem yet (6 weeks in of regular use). I've not yet washed it. Even if it does, over time, for the price, I'll just get another one. The original stool was brown and didn't show 'debris', but this one does light up every crumb and seed deposited from plate or shoe. It could be the color. I just grab a hand-vac and it comes off easily, doesn't seem to get stuck in the fabric. Once the pandemic is over I can go shopping for a new stool, but for now, this really helped me out! It's hard to find a stool so light and easy to move, so I may just keep it. And now I could! I could even get another color. I'm so happy that I found these covers. My thanks to the vendor.
