Review on 🧶 Berry Blue Caron H9700B-9609 Simply Soft Brites Yarn by Kim Sanchez

I was glad I was able to find this color online as I can't find it in stores anymore. That being said, I am disappointed that one of the three strands supplied was frayed and had three separate strands to choose from. I snipped what I could from the frayed ends of one of these and tried to roll it up to salvage what I could, while doing so a few strands were tied back together (which is something I've experienced before with this brand) and so I continued winding the yarn, one piece was badly worn (last photo shown) to the point where the yarn started to fall apart! I had to cut and waste this piece, resulting in a giant skein of most of the skein with a quarter sized skein of what was left. As much as I love Caron Simply Soft for its soft and non-scratch texture, their quality control is beyond poor and I will start looking elsewhere for my knitting needs.
