Improved stone on whetstones
These amazing gooken bricks. It's advertised as 4000 grit, but it looks closer to 6k to me. I use it on my razors little by little and I can actually go to a sticky belt after this stone and get a pretty good shave. The next stone, Gouken Fuji, is 8,000 and you can get a great shave without having to go any further. I personally like the naniwa Guken line better than the special stones.
