Bought to fit my kids a 24 inch MTB. Installation was fairly easy as it was placed directly over the back of the skewer. The problem was that the design wasn't deep enough that you couldn't shift through the full range of 1-8. To be able to shift into the smallest 8th gear. Had to use 4 washers as spacers. That's how it works, but took one few stars since you had to go to the hardware store to get washers to use as spacers.
