Cut holes in .24 inch thick ceramic tile. Easy to start and cut holes. Came out clean and made a good hole. I don't see any wear on the bit yet. A very beefy beat. I bought another famous brand locally for triple the price just in case it didn't work, but I will be back. This is from China. Arrived fairly quickly in the mail from China. Would buy a set if I had to do it again. The diamonds are at least 1/2 inch above the bit so I think I can use them to polish or enlarge the hole. I used it to cut holes in porcelain stoneware that I was going to put in a new shower.
