I bought these more for fun to attach to the ends of the pole but they have proven very useful. I placed a small container directly underneath to keep the lids from falling onto the floor. The openers are very nicely finished and look very good. The "grip angle" is just right for easy opening of beer bottles (the only way I've tried so far). Now I never have to hunt for a beer opener again or piss my wife off because she uses something that can't be "designed" to open beer bottles (like our spoons, lol). I screwed mine directly into the wooden ends of my bar, so I just used the screws that came with it. Everything looks very solid. If anything changes, I'll update my review. But so far I'm very happy with them!
