Not for use with the original igniter
Check the Revain and Pertronix website to see if this is compatible with the original igniter system. I haven't found anything that says it doesn't, so I figured for $5-10 more I could get a higher voltage coil. When I received the coil, the first line of the instructions warned that it could not be used with the "original ignition system". Otherwise, I'm willing to bet it's a good role.
