*This rating applies to packaging ONLY. Since this is a Christmas present, I can't confirm anything other than the packaging and presentation. Looking through the reviews I didn't come across any photos or written reviews that included these things so I hope this helps. Here you see from left to right: White box (This box was INSIDE the packaging box). Inner Box (This photo shows one of the sides of the inner box. It shows all the knives/tools inside and brief information about Cangshan). Knives/Tools 3 Boxes (These 3 boxes contain all knives and tools. They are individually wrapped as follows: Each handle is wrapped in tissue paper. Each blade is covered with a protective hard tip. Each knife/tool comes individually thin pouch Above the pouch, covering ONLY the blade is a protective white cardboard sleeve the knives are shrink wrapped and contain some sort of small booklet, I didn't wrap the shrink box so I don't know what's in the booklet. white outer box, and the fact that there are actually 2 food boxes in it is of great importance to make it look and feel like a quality knife set which whilst very beautiful is by no means a budget set This is NOT technically a premium product in the Compared to other $1000+ kits and definitely not in the same league as the real top separate sets we have n. Overall though, it's a nice presentation and I'm not worried about a gift. When you open the inner (black) box, there are pieces of cardboard in various places. They are folded in a triangle to act as a pad and provide extra impact protection. Nothing wobbles or rattles at all. Hope that helps!
