I wanted a good radio controlled clock next to my bed. Above all, I wanted presets and good reception. Sleep timer, alarm clock, AM FM, "plug in the wall", digital tuning and antenna were "must haves". I've seen many cheaper clock radios that don't fit this description. This C. Crane radio was ALL I wanted. but for 169€. Of course there was a half price radio with all my features. So I bought it. This is Radio Excellent. The instructions are simple and comprehensive. "Carry notch" is comfortable. I'm based in the Sierra Foothills, Northern California and can receive KGO 810, Murph & Mack 680, Coast to Coast AM and other AM stations with crystal clear condition. this. the san francisco bay area is mine again. since I moved from there. FM is perfect. HAM occurs when someone speaks. Weather Band/Weather Alerts. I'm still learning but I'm sure they will work fine. Functions/buttons at the highest level. Work as advertised. Excellent selection of multiple sleep timers. A NOTICE. A power pack (plug-in) is included in the scope of delivery. This radio is worth the money. The sound is crystal clear. Radio "Signal Strength" is a cool feature. The radio "finds” the best signal by automatically scanning, dialing, or using the up/down buttons. Easy setting. 5 presets per area. User friendliness. .
