Fluid nozzle has a larger diameter than recommended for Behr Alkyd Satin Enamel. This color is one of the most recommended cabinet colors. Using the critter will give you a bad orange peel look. According to a discussion with a Behr consultant who used a critter sprayer: You can't dilute this type of paint to make it work. Even thinning (which is not recommended) will not fix the orange peel look you get. You need a smaller hole for the liquid nozzle that isn't on the creature. No fluid nozzle settings are working. No psi adjustment on the compressor will make it work. I also tried using a Behr Premium Plus Exterior Flat Acrylic Latex Sprayer. The sprayer became clogged and the only way to get it working again was to add thinner. But then the paint came out in such a thin mist that it was not worth using, moreover, with this dilution the paint would lose too much strength. Better buy a Graco X5 needle sprayer or better. Use the 515 tip or for smaller projects use the 411 tip or another in the less paint spray category.
